L.A. Confidential

L. A. Confidential is a neo-noir about the cops of LA. It stars Kevin Spacey, Guy Pearce, and Russell Crowe as the male leads. The real only women role is Kim Basinger. The acting in the film is just so on pair all these guys and girl did a great job. I really like Guy Pearce in this movie he played the straight cop and Russell Crowe was the big bad cop. I really like there dynamic as the good and bad cop. Pearce was the guy that was we only kill if it is in self deference and Crowe was shoot then ask questions. Most people will need up liking Crowe's character more just the fact that he plays the bad ass. Spacey is a actor that the more that I watch of him the better he gets. I just love to see him play the guy that just seems to be cool with everything. This movie had a so much good. The way it was shoot just took me back to the original noir type movies such as Double Indemnity and The Maltese Falcon. The way one scene is set up was just perfect. It involves the a fire fight with Pearce and a elevator door. That scene just took my breath away. The script of the film was very well written it had some great lines and just great character development.  The only part of this film that I didn't really enjoy was the way it ended. If you are a big film noir type of person you will understand why.
