Toolbox Murders

Toolbox Murders is about a couple living in Hollywood who have just moved into a new apartment. The films opens up with the classic way to open a 80's horror movies with the death of a good looking blond part of course. This film is a very throwback to the 80's slasher films. It is very good at putting you in the mood for the classics such as Texas chainsaw and my personal favorite Nightmare on elm street. It does have a lot of gore so if your not into that type of thing I would skip this film. Also if you don't like "slasher" films you should also skip it, but if your into those type of horror movies it is perfect pick up. You get all the corness that you get form the all horror films. It is directed by Toby Hopper how has his stack in the 80's so he knows what he is doing in this genre of film. There are some good jump scares, but this film at its core is just a throwback film. It does have its fun parts, but it feels a little sloppy at times. I had fun with this film, but others my not as much
