now for the ones i saw in theaters
Sherlock Homes - 5 out of 5 Ticket stubs
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - 4.5 out of 5 Ticket stubs

This will be my full review for Mission Impossible

Mission Impossible 4 was a great way to restart this series it had everything that a person would love to go see a movie. It had the drama it had the great action and it also had a great story. It is one of the best movies you can see right now. Tom Crusie is one of my personal favorite actors today and he was great in this role as he always was. Then on the side you have great side characters it was just a great cast of characters and actors. The director Brad Bird had a great style for this movie there was no shake cam and it help this movie so much. He was able to shoot the worlds tallest building and i was on the edge of my seat the whole scene. I can't say anything bad about this film. The score was awesome with the theme, but you didn't just get that great theme you also got like remixs of it and worked so well for this film. I didnt get to see this film in imax and i would have loved to. I am thinking about going to see it again and watching in IMAX just for the tallest building scene. If you get the chance to see it in IMAX tell me how it is. See this movie all i have to say

50/50

50/50 is a movie about Adam play by Joseph Gordon-Levitt how has just been told that he has a 50/50 shot of living. The film is very good in the simplest of words. The film had a great tone and great pacing. They where able to make you laugh and make you really sad for this character of Adam. The script of this film and the acting are the shining stars of this film. The script made some great moments that will have you laughing but when they are about to get serious they really do and it not just big joke. Levitt was great in this film. He really has some acting chops and I can't wait to see what he does next. Levitt really makes you feel for him. Because he becomes that lovable guy. He was really funny and very good in this role. Seth Rogen is also in the film has his best friend Kyle. I like Seth Rogen in this. He played the same character he always plays, but they toned him down and it really worked in the film as a whole. The problems that with the film was the way it ended. I personally didnt like it, but others will. Then the DOP was also a hit and miss with me. He tried to give it that documentary  feel, but he really falls short. But all in all i still highly recommend the film.

Air Force One

Air force one is about the plane. In the simplest form. It stars Harrison Ford, William H Macy, and Gary Oldman.Oh yeah in Glenn Close. Just form that cast it is pretty easy that this has a really good acting in it. Ford plays the President of the USA coming back form a dinner with Russia. Who we had just help get rid of a terrorist leader. When they are on the plane they get taken over by terrorist lead by Gary Oldman. Very simple story. What made this film so much fun was Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. Watching Indiana Jones kick ass in a suit was awesome. Oldman also played one of the best on screen bad guys i have seen in awhile. It had great action and really good acting by the two leads. It has one of the coolest lines ever. Given by Ford. GET OFF MY PLANE. Just a great scene. If you like action movies and Harrison Ford see this movie. Well I loved this movie. I did have problems with it. The biggest problem with the film was that it is very impossible. Parts of these film would never happen in reality. It is in big popcorn flix. This is not the film you go to see and think after you see this film for the opposite reason not to think.

Stupid, Crazy, Love

Stupid, Crazy, Love is about a man who has just gotten divorced and is trying to move on with his life. This is the main story of the film and there are many other stories that are very well told in this film. It is one of the best chick flixs i have ever seen. The film balances all the stories so well and they are all interesting to watch and all the over all tone of the film is great. The directors did a great job of this it never had a dull part of the film and was very well paced. There were so many actors in this film. You have Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon, and Melissa Tomie. They all do great jobs and have very funny moments and great characters. I am not gonna lie Ryan Gosling has a had a great year this year all the films i have seen by him have been great. The only parts that I really didn't like about this film was the way that one characters is done and acted. Analeigh Tipton was the worst part of the whole film. I was not into the way she acted in the film and plus the story she was in.  I liked the story linking to her with Carells son just not her story with Carell. Even with that minor glich in the film I say rent and see it

The Other Women

The Other Women is a IFC film about a man and wife who have a child, but the baby needs up doing of natural causes and you find out the the women that the man is sleeping with is actually is second wife and he cheated on his first wife the one he has now. Natalie Portman plays the other women in this ( the second wife). It is a a descent drama with a lot of good acting mainly done by Portman. She really is the real and only reason to see this film. The film surrounding her is not very great. Not to say its not bad but nothing new that we haven't seen before and will see again. There are some really good moments the the child in the film who actually does a descent job in that role, but beside those to actors in really is just a descent film. They could have done a lot more with the script on this one. It just feels a little under developed and not thought all the way through like the movie asks to many questions and doesn't really answer them all. What I also did like was the some of the shots in the film were pretty cool, but there are only like one or two of them so not very well directed and shot. It is a very descent film and very easy to forget.

Real Steel

Real Steel is what you get when you cross Rocky with fighting robots with Hugh Jackman. First off I have to say a lot of people didn't think this film was going to be that good. Well its a good film. This movie is very fun. If your looking for a film about robots fighting you are so gonna get that, but if you want a movie with a good story line about a father and son you will get that as well. Jackman and the kid (don't know the name) have a great chemistry they have some great back and forth in the film. On the action side it is very well done we don't get the Micheal Bay Transformer type action where it is just all over the place it is just shot straight on with a camera i enjoyed it.  If you are a fan of boxing movies you will most likely like this film, even if there are giant fighting robots. This movie in a nutshell is just so fun. You will sit down and have a good time if you see this film. It really has something for everyone. The only real problem with the film is that you can totally see where the movie was going. Which hurt the film is someways because you just know the ending of the movie before it even starts, but if you like robots and Jackman I say check this film out.

Friday

Friday is a big hang out and pretty buddy comedy. The film is about the day in the life of two young man. Crag and Smoky. Crag is played by Ice Cube and Smoky is played by Chris Rock. From those actors and the names of those actors you can tell what this film is about. Weed, Mary Jane, and any other 3rd name you can think of. First one the movie is really funny and has a lot of talking and really good characters. I loved the characters of this film. Crag and Smoky are two great well written characters. This film was like the original to Harold and Kumar. A lot of the same type of comedy in in this film. It also took a big page form clerks. Just with a lot more talking. I also will say that I liked the serious parts of the film. With how to become a man. It was actually really well done. It was very simple on the fact of film making, but very well done. The parts that are going against the film is the fact that is not open to everybody. It is just aimed at one type of crowd. Also the parts needed to have a bit more spark and more development.

Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver's Travels is about Gulliver (Jack Black) who is a man that has done nothing with his life. He has worked in the mail room of company i believe for a 10 years. He meets this writer and editor and the company that writes reviews on places all over the world. He likes her so he impress her by lieing saying that he can write. So she sends him to the Bermuda Triangle and the boat that he is on wrecks and he ends up on a island with a people the size of mice. That is pretty much the story of this movie. Which we have seen before. The film itself is really bad. The tone and pacing of the film is all over the place. It has a really jumpy story. It did not have a very strong director behind this film. Also Jack Black give one of his worse acting i have ever seen. It was so just so bad on the acting. the only really strong part of this was Jason Segal who is a side characther that is actully well written, but doesn't get the screen time he needs. Also the humor was just dick and fart jokes which I person hate with a passoin

Wolf

Wolf is a horror film about werewolves. It was acted well by Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer. this film is actually pretty good. I say that cause most horror werewolf movies are not that good.  This one had a really good Director behind it in Mike Nicoles who did The Graduate.  It has a lot really good editing tools. It was just a very well paced film with a very good tone. The story was just the any old werewolf story. No differences. Just well done story telling. Well done acting and the film looked very well done. The only thing that i did not like about this film was the fact that it was boring. It was so well done film. Acted great. Just had no sticking with you. You would not want to rewatch this film ever. There was no good scares in this film. It is save to almost call this a none horror movie and just call it a drama that has a lot of horror elements. I can say this thought if you have never seen a werewolf movie pick it up. Yes I say it was boring, but that is coming form me how has seen a lot better werewolf films and that are very creepy, but not very well done. I wish they could mix how well done this film was with the creepiness of others. So pick it up if you want to watch a good werewolf flix, but if you have seen others like American Werewolf in London you should skip.

Red State

Red State is the latest Kevin Smith film. Smith is know for making Clerks Mallrates and Clerks 2. This his first film that isn't a comedy. He directs the film very well none the less. It never loses the tone. It really is a okay horror movie. It was very dark. The darkest film he has ever made easily. The pacing is okay in this film parts. Some parts are very well done and they film along and others just drag the film down. Also what i like where the characters and the dialog of the film. What really was the biggest hurting factors in this film was the fact there wasn't any main character at all. Like you cant tell who this story is supposed to be about. It really does a good job of telling the event. There is no story. There is no two forces going at each other. Then also the sheriffs of this small town was one of the worse characters of the film. He had no point of being in this film. The story seems to be all over the place and very unstructured. I say if you like Kevin Smith rent the film because like me you have to see if he can do this and he can. But as a film i have to give a pass. It seems like there is a really good movie in this film, but it just needs some touch up.

Paranomal Activity 3

Well people here it is my thoughts on this years biggest horror movie coming out this October.  So what did Kyle think of this one. Well first off you don't need to see the other Paranormal movies to enjoy this film. You will still get the pants scared off of you. This is by far the scariest of the bunch. It is the same formula that has worked for 3 years now. Do you see the demon? Did you see that curtain move over there? It does this the best off all of them it draws you into the scare and just sets it up perfectly. The best scene the movie is the Bloody Mary scene of the film. It is not the one from the trailers so no spoilers here. Now as to this film on its film making skills it is very well done and has a great tone and near perfect pacing. The only two thing that are really hurting this film is the story of the film and the ending. The story to me really didn't match the others. It changed a lot of the story from the first two. It should have been called Paranormal Actively 3 the something and if the characters were different it would have been better too. The ending of this film seems very rough it is now where near as complete as 2 was. It really makes you want more. But besides all that it really is a fun movie. I sat you go see it in theaters.

Hatchet 2

Hatchet 2. Oh man what to say about this film. Well first off if you don't like slasher films skip this one. If you saw the first one and hated it skip this one. This film is for and only for slasher film fans. It is so over the top. It is so crazy with mentions of other horror movies. It is also so just so much fun. Very low budget. There is like no CGI in this film. It works for this film. The acting is not great, but that actually will not hurt the film. It makes more fun to watch. The things that i didnt like the films is this it is so tone made for the slasher fan based that nobody else will like this film. Basically not many people will enjoy this film because of that reason alone.  Plus the film is not that well made. So if you happen to rent this film watch out for that. It really is trying to do the its so bad that it is good and in my eyes it hits it perfectly. I personally had a lot of fun with this film because i love this type of movies but most wont. I have to give this film two rating one as a serious film and the other as just a fun stupid horror

The Thing (2011)

The Thing is a prequel to the original John Carpenter's The Thing. If you have seen 1982 version you know what this film is going to do. Well you will get everything you will be excepting out of this movie. It pays to tribute to the original film very well. Now if you have never seen the 1982 version don't worry you will not be lost at all. The film sets up the story very well. It is about a group of Russian paleontologist find a crashed alien ship with a alien trapped in ice. Then in horror movie fashion the alien breaks free of the ice and starts to attack all the people at the camp. The movie is very well made. You can tell the Director knew what he was getting into with this film. The tone of the film is constant thought out the whole movie and it is shot very well. I enjoyed the DOP very much. The scares in the film are really good. There are not a lot of jump scares, but they do use them very well. Also there is a lot of CGI, but it works in this film. So if you liked the old film check it out and if you just like horror movies i say check it out

The Midnight Meat Train

The Midnight Meat Train was a very odd movie. This movie had one the oddest stories for a horror movie that i have seen in a long time. The story was about a killer that would ride the latest train and kill the passengers on the train. That the story on the story in a nutshell. The movie had a interesting cast as well. Bradley Cooper was the main character of the film which really thought me off. He did a okay job in this role. I really think someone else could do better, but he gets the job done. The kills in this movie were very hard hitting. This film was really violent. There is also a lot of CGI which really hurt the film it took away form the film. The scares aren't jump in this film, but scares aren't that great. They are in the violence of the film. The film was written by the person you who wrote the Hell Riser movies Cliver Barker. Which i really don't enjoy so people who like that movie will like this one and people who hate the Hell Riser will hate this film. It has a very love or hate it feel. So I say skip it, but if you like CGI, Cooper, and lots of gore. Pick it up you will be in for a treat

The Hills Run Red

The Hills Run Red is a film that does something very cool that only a few movies and pulled off and has done it well. It has a film inside a film called the Hills Run Red. What the film is mainly about is this film and how that it was so violent that it got pulled form theaters and only few people saw it. The film would go done in legend as a film that no one has seen so this college student named Tyler would go out and try and find this film. It turns into the horror movie that everybody loves. There is a lot of gore in this film so if your not a fan of gore in your horror films this a skip. I liked this movie a lot because it is a really good throw back to the 80's slasher with some new style on the side form the gore and saw like torture in it. The acting in the film is okay at best, but like I said it is a horror film your not gonna get amazing acting. The DOP was nothing really special. The reason why liked this film was that it is very fast paced and it really sucked you into the film. Its a prefect late night movie. Turn off all the lights and you will have a good fright, because of that i am going to give it 3.5 out of 5  it will scare you.

The Caller

The Caller is a film about a women named Mary kee moving into a new apartment and finding this older telephone and decides to hook it up and use it as the home phone. She starts to get calls form somebody and they form a very odd friendship. This is looked at as a thriller and it does have the elements of a thriller film, but it does have parts that are just generally scary. The actress that plays Mary Kate does a okay job at best. I have seen better acting and i have worse acting. She falls right in the middle of doing a good job and a bad job. One actor that I thought was really bad was the gardener. Also some parts of the script are really underdeveloped. Even thought it has that the film was still very enjoyable. I really liked the look of the film. The DOP was pretty good. I loved the look of the apartment, but if your looking for a film that will scare your pants off this is a skipper.

Near Dark

Near Dark is a vampire film. Yes there are a lot of vampire films out there now. This film is very descent very style over subsidence. I enjoyed the films look a lot and the blend of western and vampire film. The writing was very well done, but happens in this film is some of the actors don't seem to get into there characters at all. When others really get into there roles. The main two characters are very well written, but the acting around them was not well done. The characters that are perfect and just well written are the side characters I loved the head vampire of the movie. His screen presence was just amazing. Another thing that I thought that was kinda cool was the fact that they never really say that they are vampires in the film. What the biggest problem with the film to me is this film was supposed to be a horror film and I just wasn't scared at all. There wasn't any really good scares in this film. It also has a more of a Twilight feel to a movie, but I still liked parts of the film. The last ten minutes of  the film are awesome. I say if you want a Twilight like movie rent this, but if your looking for a horror film it is a skipper.

Toolbox Murders

Toolbox Murders is about a couple living in Hollywood who have just moved into a new apartment. The films opens up with the classic way to open a 80's horror movies with the death of a good looking blond part of course. This film is a very throwback to the 80's slasher films. It is very good at putting you in the mood for the classics such as Texas chainsaw and my personal favorite Nightmare on elm street. It does have a lot of gore so if your not into that type of thing I would skip this film. Also if you don't like "slasher" films you should also skip it, but if your into those type of horror movies it is perfect pick up. You get all the corness that you get form the all horror films. It is directed by Toby Hopper how has his stack in the 80's so he knows what he is doing in this genre of film. There are some good jump scares, but this film at its core is just a throwback film. It does have its fun parts, but it feels a little sloppy at times. I had fun with this film, but others my not as much

Blue Valentine

Blue Valentine is the most realistic film about a relationship I have ever seen. It was a very sad film. I do not recommend a boyfriend and girlfriend to see this film. I do recommend people to see this movie if they are in a relationship to see, but just not together. It stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams the both do a great job it this film. You really feel for both the characters and they both grow throughout the film. What the film is about is Dean (Gosling) and Cindy's (Williams) relationship and how the grew apart and what happened to them after. The film bounces form when they met to where they are at now.It does this really well with some well placed transitions between time lines. The film is perfectly paced and the tone of the film is never lost. The way the film is shot is just perfect. It makes you feel like you are watching this really happen right before your eyes. There is no real score to the film all the music form the movie is there in the movie like coming form a radio. The film also does a good job of making you look at yourself. If you can I say pick it up.

The Perfect Host

The Perfect Host is such a me movie. It is a thriller about a man you is running form the cops because he robbed a bank. Ends up tricking a man into inviting him into his home so steal his money and have a place to stay for the night. Then Warwick (the owner of the house) is actually crazy and is trying to kill him.  The main character of this film is play by David Hyde Pierce who does a amazing job at this character named Warwick he steals the show in this movie. The side actor how plays the robber does a  great job as well. What shines in this film is the script and they characters that it makes. It is a very creepy movie and very funny at times. Pierce really gets this character. He knows how he is going to work out and really just shines throughout this whole movie. The parts that i didn't really like about this film where the ending and the direction. The ending is really lost on me. I don't know why they decided to go that way, but they did and it in my opinion hurt the film. That's the main reason why the direction wasn't very good because the director made this great film that was all in Warwick's house he should have just have just left it in his house and have not taken it out. I also would like to mention that if you think you are renting a horror film you  are not and don't get it for the scares. It is a very well made thriller film. So if you are in the mood for a thriller then yes watch this film.

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids. What to say about this movie. Bridesmaids is being called the hangover for girls and I can say that many girls will enjoy this film more then guys. Not saying that the film is not for guys because it does have moments that are just really funny. The acting in the movie is very descent it isn't bad acting just so parts could have been done better. There is a big problem with the script in this movie. It didn't really seem to know where it was going. Like it has a lot of plot development that just go nowhere and there are characters that really just don't matter to the story at all. The parts that were very well done in this film was the chemistry of all the actors. They all really wanted to be there and they all really cared about the project. If you are a girl that didn't like the hangover then is the movie for you. Me being a guy parts kinda went over my head. It also does go the chick flick rout at some parts which I really didn't mind. If you are a guy thought i say rent it and if you like it buy but most girls will like this film more

This film and and two others well be the last none horror movies of the that i will review till the end of October the other two films are The Perfect host which should be up later this week. Then Blue Valentine which well be closer to then end of the week.

Unbreakable

Unbreakable is very good story and just over all a very well presented film. I loved it. It made me think about the  term superhero. Unbreakable was a very well shot movie. The types of one shots that M. Night would use were great. The story really kept you in your seat. The film stars two major players Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Both of these man put on strong acting jobs. Jackson character was the better one by far, but Willis did a better job of acting. Willis character was silent, but you got all the information form his eyes and his body language. The story is about how Willis has never been sick or hurt and how he has the "superhero" like powers. In one scene perfectly done. Was the scene were Willis is working out and they need to keep adding weight. This a very realistic story of a superhero. People who liked the dark knight will love this film. The parts that i didn't like about the film is the ending of the film it felt very rushed and wasn't the M. Night twist I was looking for. Then some parts of the film seem under developed. Like his super strength isnt really ever seen again through the film.  The action was also a bit on the slow side, but I personally didn't mind it.

Drive

I drive. Drive maybe the best filmed movie this year. Maybe the best acted movie of the year. Maybe the best movie of the year, but saying all that does not make this the movie that everybody will enjoy. Drive is about a getaway driver named.... You never get his name he just known as driver. How gets involved with a girl how has a kid and a husband in jail. The husband gets out of jail and owes money it a mod boss. So Driver and him have to rob a place and they only are supposed to get 40,000 but end up stealing a million. Then the story really takes off. Ryan Gosling has is the main character, but doesn't have that many speaking lines. You get all the emotion from his face and the way he acts with his hands. This movie almost could be have no sound and you could still tell what is going in the film. Then the way this movie was shot was beautiful. I mean just beautiful. I loved the cinematography of this movie. There a few shots that will stay with me for a long time after viewing. The score of the film is like this techno type 80's music which really works for the film. This movies is also very bloody. You are warned if you see this movie you will see a lot of blood. The only problems I have with this film where that it really isn't for everyone. This movie is like a piece of new art. It is very different type of movie. Also the movie is on the slower side. I personally didn't mind it because you are sucked into this world. Don't go into thinking your going to see Fast Five you will be highly upset. If you love film and like how it is made check this film out. I really want to give this movie 5 out 5 thought. That is how much i loved it. but others many not enjoy it as much possible hate it.

Scream 4

What's your favorite scary movie? That is the underline of this whole film. This film is one of the best screams to date. I personally love this movies. I love all three of the originals. This film really  just added a lot to the series. If you are a horror fan you have to see scream 1 and 4 I say. Scream 4 takes place a couple years after 3. All the same stars are in it. With a huge crew of new ones. The original kinda sit side sit in this film and the new stars really do a great job of acting. You really get to know these new characters and start to care for them and then they just get murder left and right. The DOP (cameraman) give this film a great look. Really dark, great use of shadows.  There is one shot in the film that is just way to dark. You can't see the actor who is talking. I loved the story of the film great for the all the remakes of horror films now. The opening of these film is one of the best opening to a horror movie that I have seen in years. The only parts that hurt the film. Is the scare factors. Yes this movie is a comedy horror film and it is one of the funniest horror films, but it really isn't that scary. I still really enjoy this film. This a perfect horror movie for the Halloween season.

The Butterfly Effect

The Butterfly Effect is about a man played by Ashton Kutcher. The man had random black outs as a kid. Mainly at the most important parts of his life. We see him grow up and turn into Kutcher. The film acting wise is not the best film to date. You won't see them getting best actor of the year award that is for sure, but they get the job done. The editing in the film is descent there are mistakes in places and not the greatest transitions in the world world. What people will like most about this film is the idea behind it. If you can a moment in your life how does effect you and your family and your friends. It really is the driving force behind this film. It is the thing that will keep you guessing through out the whole movie, but like I said the parts where if you had a brain you really could tell they didn't think this film trough all the way. Moments where he could have gone back and fixed something in the alternate reality instead of going all the way to the past and the fact the film is mainly keeping you in your seat for Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart who is also in the film.  So if you like the idea of the Butterfly Effect you may like this film, but if you don't you may have to go back and change that part on your own memory

Halloween the season

Halloween is coming up as all of you know and that is my favorite time of year. Not just for the awesome weather that we get and how beautiful the trees are when the leaves fall off, the the free candy that some of us, or the parties that we all go to. But for my favorite type of films good old horror movies. So when October hits all you well see on this blog is reviews for horror films. New and old so don't worry I will tell you what I think of Paranormal 3. Please keep reading my reviews. and tell me what you think of them.

L.A. Confidential

L. A. Confidential is a neo-noir about the cops of LA. It stars Kevin Spacey, Guy Pearce, and Russell Crowe as the male leads. The real only women role is Kim Basinger. The acting in the film is just so on pair all these guys and girl did a great job. I really like Guy Pearce in this movie he played the straight cop and Russell Crowe was the big bad cop. I really like there dynamic as the good and bad cop. Pearce was the guy that was we only kill if it is in self deference and Crowe was shoot then ask questions. Most people will need up liking Crowe's character more just the fact that he plays the bad ass. Spacey is a actor that the more that I watch of him the better he gets. I just love to see him play the guy that just seems to be cool with everything. This movie had a so much good. The way it was shoot just took me back to the original noir type movies such as Double Indemnity and The Maltese Falcon. The way one scene is set up was just perfect. It involves the a fire fight with Pearce and a elevator door. That scene just took my breath away. The script of the film was very well written it had some great lines and just great character development.  The only part of this film that I didn't really enjoy was the way it ended. If you are a big film noir type of person you will understand why.

The Lion King 3D (2011)

The Lion King is already a timeless movie. Most people should have seen this or at least heard of it. The movie it self is already a 5 ticket stub film. The 3D to this movie was so good. I personally was just blown away by how well done it was. I saw this movie when I was a kid like most people, now as a adult I can really appreciate the film for what it is to the film community. There so many thinks that you can look at deeper and with more meaning. The 3d for the film worked perfect the first scene of the movie was just perfect you felt like you were flying with zazu. Their is so much depth to the film now you feel like you are in the movie with simba and the whole gang. Then the score is just perfect. The score was remaster by Hans Zimmer( Inception). I say see this in theaters to get the full effect of the film,  but if you don't want to spend 11 dollars on by the Blu-ray dvd of it  is well worth your money.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night

Dylan Dog is about a private eye that deals with zomibes, vampires, and werewolves. Dylan is played by Brandon Routh who doesn't do a bad job of being this character. The parts that were good about this film where the dialogue between Routh and Sam Huntingtion  who plays his partner. Huntingtion and Routh are really the best part they have really good chemistry on screen. the viewer can tell that there friendship form Superman Returns is still very much alive.  Also the direction wasn't to bad he did a good job with what he had. You can really tell that he try to give it his own style, but it falls short a lot of the time. Which is better then nothing I say.  What really hurts this film was the script. Its not very good, we have no drive to really care about these characters. the action is very lacking and the story is descent at best. this film really is what a b movie would look like with a bigger budget and descent actors. Parts of the film seem pointless and is very hard to stick thought. You will get a few laughs but that's all form this film.

Fright Night 3D (2011)

Fright Night 3d is a remake of a 1980s film of the same name. It is about a kid Charlie(Anton Yelchin) spying on his new neighbor Jerry(Colin Farrell). Jerry turns out to be a vampire and I mean a real vampire. This guy just wants to eat you. You won't see no shining vamps here. This has everything a horror movie needs it has great scares, some of the best suspense i have seen a long time, and if you are a fan of gore it has a good amount of that too. What I liked about this film a lot was that it had a great mix of comedy in as well, but this movie is really more of a horror comedy. The comedy sits in the passenger seat in this film. So if you think your gonna get like a Zombieland where it is mostly funny and not much scares. You won't get that. This film had a great tone. It was a very dark film. Scenes that take place at night are just really dark and very well shot. One scene in participatory in the car chase scene where it looks like one shot. Colin Farrell was by far the best actor in the film. He did a great job. When he is on screen he would steal the show. Parts where he is talking about how long he has lived and just powerful he is just took my breath away. The 3d was very well done. They did a good job at of both giving you depth to the film and stuff popping out at you. Parts that i really didn't like about the film was comedy of the film. In some scenes and lines that were meant to be funny were funny but not like rolling around on the ground funny.  Also the character of the fake vampire killer i didn't really enjoy he  kinda pissed me off and he is very one sided. Even thought it has some small faults it is a very good film. great scares and descent laughs a perfect date movie in my opinion and if you like 3d it is worth the extra dollar.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Just saw Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. It was a decent film; it wasn't very scary, but very creepy (and yes there is a difference). There were some scenes that were way too dark, but I did like the scenes where you could actually see everything. I also liked the score a lot and the ending was very creepy. 3 out of 5 stars.

The Last Circus

Saw the craziest love story and just one the craziest movies last night it was very good, but most people will not like it. The movie is a Spanish flix called The Last Circus; The Last Circus gets a 4 and a 1/2 out 5 stars on my ranking system.
